Created in the early 70's by a local newspaper publisher, they brought me on to breathe new life into a magazine that seemed to have slowly lost its local roots. The objective set forth by the publisher was to create a publication that placed primary focus on the locals that make Malibu tick on a daily basis, while not alienating the obvious celebrity draw the area has. The result was a publication that offered an equal distribution of local and celebrity coverage. Done in a way that kept our audience on their toes.

Unfortunately MTM's owner wasn't a fan of the internets. This was a Wordpress design that was never implemented. The layout below was design to create added value by way of site advertising takeovers etc.
